Kyle Lui is a NYC based freelance photographer, with a focus in documentary photography. He is interested in topics involving race, immigration and housing. He is currently a student in the JustArts Photography Program run by the Red Hook Community Justice Center. 
He was awarded 2nd place in the Global Perspectives Photo Contest at Tufts University in the category Comparative Global Humanities. He was also granted the award "photo of the semester" by The Tufts Daily for his photo of congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. Additionally, his work from his project "Diaspora Stories" was selected by a jury to be exhibited at the 2019 SMFA Photo Area Show.
